§ 1. General Provisions
  1. The 4th Symposium of the Hanna Segal Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies, titled “Dogma and Reflection,” will take place in Warsaw on 18 April 2026, at 64 Krakowskie Przedmieście St, Warsaw.
  2. The Organizer of the Symposium is the Hanna Segal Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies, located at Lanciego 9H, 02-792 Warsaw.

  1. Personal Data Controller: The controller of personal data collected through the online registration form is the Hanna Segal Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies, located at Lanciego 9H, 02-792 Warsaw.
  2. Participants of the Symposium are individuals who:
  • Registered using the online registration form.
  • Paid the conference fee according to the schedule.
  • Accepted these Regulations and consented to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of organizing the Symposium.

  1. Registration through the Symposium website constitutes:
  • Acceptance of these Regulations.
  • Consent to the processing of data necessary for organizing the Symposium.
  • Agreement to comply with these Regulations and any arrangements concluded between the Participant and the Organizer.
  1. The registration deadline for the Symposium is provided on the website. The person registering must provide accurate and truthful information.
  2. The Organizer is not responsible for any damages resulting from the Participant entering false information in the registration form.
§ 2. Conditions of Participation
  1. Conditions for participation in the Symposium include:
  • Registration exclusively via the online registration form.
  • Payment of the Symposium fee through the online payment system.
  1. Online Payments: Transactions are processed through Przelewy24, in accordance with the conditions of the Participants bank and payment service providers.
  2. Upon the Participants request, sent to sympozjum@isphs.pl, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
  3. Travel, accommodation, and any additional expenses are the responsibility of the Participant.
  4. The Symposium fee includes catering: lunch, snacks, and beverages during coffee breaks.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to change speakers or modify the Symposium program.
  6. The Organizer may change the date of the Symposium in cases of force majeure.
  7. Clinical materials presented at the Symposium are confidential.
  8. Recording of clinical materials or lectures on any digital device is strictly prohibited.
§ 3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  1. Participation in the Symposium constitutes an educational service provided on a specific date, in accordance with Article 38(12) of the Consumer Rights Act. Therefore, the Participant is not entitled to the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
  2. The participation fee is non-refundable.
  3. The Participant may transfer their registration to another person provided that:
  • The Organizer is notified no later than 7 days before the event.
  • Full details of the new Participant are provided.
  • The change is free of charge.
  1. If the Symposium is canceled by the Organizer, a full refund will be issued within 14 days. Additional costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) are not covered.
  2. The Organizer may change the program, order of presentations, speakers, or event format due to circumstances beyond their control. Such changes do not entitle Participants to a refund, provided that the Symposium takes place on the scheduled date.
§ 4. Fees and Payment Terms
  1. The participation fee for the Symposium is:
  • Early registration until 18.03.2026: 145 EUR
  • Late registration from 19.03.2026: 165 EUR

  2. The registration form must be completed prior to payment.

  2. Claims may be submitted within 14 days after the Symposium.
  3. Claims submitted after this period will not be considered.
§ 7. Personal Data Processing and Security
  1. Personal data are processed for the purpose of organizing the Symposium and assisting Participants. After the Symposium, data are stored for audit purposes for five full accounting periods. Additional data collected based on separate consent are stored until the consent is withdrawn.
  2. The Institute applies all necessary procedures to ensure the security of personal data.
